For this creation, I use Porcelain selected from the Kangxi period of the Qing dynasty (1661AD -1722AD).
Cowpea red glaze is a variegating high temperature color glaze, which is burned by reducing flame and is a famous and precious variety in the copper red glaze of kangxi period(1661AD--1722AD).Its basic tone is like the red of mature cowpea. The glaze is moist quietly elegant, presents a deep and shallow change of pink, with agreen mossy spot.Also called "beauty drunk" or "beauty ji".The doping is in the red glaze.During the qing dynasty, kangxi was constantly innovating on the basis of inheriting the previous generation, and then fired the red, cowpea red and ji red.Among them, the burning of cowpea red is the most difficult, and there are thousands of changes in the delicate glaze color.Cowpea red glaze looks not fancy.When I see it,just like drinking strong tea; The more you taste , the more you sense the flavor.
